WPC: Ascent – The Great Wall

‘Ascent’ is the theme for this week’s challenge from the Daily Post. Ascent was the word when we walked the Great Wall of China snaking through the mountains just north of Beijing – images here scanned from film shot in 2001 and 2003. The magnitude of the wall going up and down is difficult to describe.
