I have not been on the blog at all for over a week. All six kids and our son-in-law piled into a rented passenger van and we traveled to Washington, D.C., plus stops on the way there and back. We visited many current and historical sites throughout the week; sadly one week was not enough. If another opportunity ever comes up we can make another week of it with an entirely different itinerary! In any event, it was a great time and we came back home exhausted!
