The Weekly Photo Challenge theme for this week is ‘Bridge.’ We saw a lot of bridges when we walked the Indianapolis City Canal. I have driven over all the city street bridges that cross the canal but this was the first time I ever walked beneath them. We also saw the old U.S. 40 bridge that was bypassed for the then-new Indianapolis Zoo. It is just west of the canal’s southern end. The Canal Walk is an excellent place to walk and relax – it is a mix of modern Indianapolis and Indianapolis-past!
