WPC: Heritage – Indiana Dining

This week’s topic for the Weekly Photo Challenge is ‘heritage.’ We have traveled to many places and learned of the many foods that are traditional in those areas. Pork tenderloin is a dining tradition centered here in the Midwest U.S. We have one of the best tenderloin shops around – the Oasis Diner. The diner stood about four miles east of us for many years before moving to the town center just a few years ago. A larger building surrounds the original diner at its present location. Anyone who travels through Plainfield, Indiana, should must make a stop here. It is an Indiana Heritage site. And the distinctly Midwestern food is outstanding as well.

Charlotte, Cara and Ethan talking (and swiping my food) while I take another picture; the other girls are at the table behind ours.

The Diner’s own tenderloin sandwich!

Strawberry cream cheese french toast!
