“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
— I Timothy 6:10 KJV
One seldom hears the second part of this verse in the course of general conversation.
“No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
We don’t get too many “ye”s round here either.
