WPC: Names – Capitol

Walking through the state capitol building one sees names everywhere. At our first stop we see the large plaque listing the Indiana’s Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.
This door leads to the Governor’s office. Not this day but we got a tour through the office on one of the kid’s field trips.
This is the sign at Cara’s door to her former job as legislative assistant. Now she works in the Budget Office. She gets to tell politicians “No, you don’t get any more money and get out of my office.” What a great job that would be.
Just outside one of the large entry doors stands the Thomas A. Hendricks memorial. He was an Indiana Governor, a U.S. Vice President and the namesake for our county.
