Winter at the Park…

I ventured out in the -3 F (-19 C) weather yesterday morning searching for some unusual Winter weather scenes and came across this one. Looking north off the old bridge at Friendship Gardens I saw this unique ice floating on the creek. I had not seen this type of ice structure before. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know how these ice globs form? Two views here – the second is a close-up section from the first image.
