GeoCaching

During our walk on the Vandalia Trail (earlier posts are here, here and here) we tried to find eight GeoCaches that lay hidden along the three miles of trail. GeoCaching is activated on a phone app that supplies you with locations and hints for finding small caches previously hidden. The caches come in several sizes and shapes. Inside the cache is a log book for the finders to record the date of the find. They also contain trinkets – stones, little jewels, toys, small games and the like – that get traded out with other trinkets. You might find these caches just about anywhere.
