A Photo a Week Challenge: Pie or Pi

In consideration of Rounded Pi Day (yes, I am a day late), I pulled this book out of my library. This is not a pie, but it is the consummate guide of the history of pi (π). Mr. Beckmann offers an excellent study of the history adding commentary on some of the contemporary politics along the way!

And here, for your reference, is pi (π) out to 10,000 decimal places. This will be useful the next time you calculate the amount of pie-crust dough that it takes to wrap around a 9-inch pie pan.

(Click on either list to open the gallery and zoom-in if the digits are not so clear!)
