A while back I posted about the Point Iroquois Lighthouse on Whitefish Bay in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. You can see that post and read some of the history here. Today, we walk around the grounds of the lighthouse. Since the middle of the 19th century, the lighthouse keepers maintained the grounds to help pass the time while stationed at this remote site. Even now decommissioned and serving as a museum, the keepers keep up the grounds as before.
