Friday Fruit Tree Flowers

β€œHome isn’t where you’re from, it’s where you find light when all grows dark.”
― Pierce Brown

Today’s offering is a review of spring flowers from fruit trees around the area. The flowering crabapple tree is in our front yard. The upper picture in the gallery is an unidentified fruit tree at the park and the lower picture is another unidentified fruit tree at the library.

(Click any picture to open the gallery, these captures look very nice full-screen!)

  1. Some lovely flowers, especially the pink ones. You, literally, cannot afford though, to just say “unidentified fruit tree “. What if it’s a money tree? And you’re not there during the five minutes of fruiting when all the banknotes fly off.
“Money doesn’t grow on trees, you know”, my perhaps over-frugal mother used to say….but who can be 100% certain?

    1. Wouldn’t that be nice! The crabapple tree is in our front yard and had an especially colorful year this Spring. However, no money up to this moment, but plenty of crabapples to get mangled by the lawnmower. I will keep an eye open for the money though just in case.
