Creepy Predator

Spiders are one of the most sinister creatures to see in a macro shot, especially from the underneath side – that is the side you would see while trapped underneath a monster spider in a B-movie from the 1950s. On the other hand, they have some of the finest color schemes around. And it is fascinating to watch them spin a web. I am not sure of the species of the pictured spider, but I have seen two around the house over the past few days.

  1. I can’t say I like spiders that much, but I’m proud that I never kill them. It’s bad luck in England, so I leave them alone! Lovely photos, by the way. And excellently focused in, probably, difficult circumstances.
