Weekly Photo Challenge: Creepy – Snakes

After walking down about a gazillion wooden steps at a nearby state park to get to the river bed and our trail, we ran across this water snake sitting on a rock. The trail, of course, was just a few feet to the snake’s right. It was very creepy being this close to a snake in his natural environment.

It was no less creepy when this directional post reminded us that we were standing almost at the top of Snake Hill in Wuhan, China.

  1. Snakes rock. we caught one this year in the green house. It was a Garter snake I let it loose in the fair grounds. the scales on their bellies grant them great movement.
