Sylvain Landry’s Photo Challenge: Light

I picked fire as my entry for Sylvain’s photo challenge category of light. More specifically, the glow of embers in a fire. Not only do we see the orange light emanating from the burning wood but we get the heat radiation. Occasionally, a flame shoots out quickly then fades away. I find it fascinating to watch the lower sections of a wood fire – it is a mini-furnace operating in full view.

  1. It all started with a flame, something burning like wood…… It’s been so long, I can’t remember when this happened. 4 to 5 million years ago I think… 🙂
